Altendorf America presents its full machine range at Booth B7972,
Building B – Atlanta, August 25-28, 2026

2026 is a milestone year for Altendorf: the company celebrates 120 years of a brand and machine-building history that has shaped modern panel and solid wood processing like few others. Since 1906, Altendorf sliding table saws have been part of everyday craftwork in workshops around the world – and in North America, Altendorf America has been the local face of that commitment since 1984. At IWF 2026, Altendorf America brings its full machine range to Atlanta: precision machines, proven technology, and the people behind them.

From Pioneer to the Craftsman’s Best Friend

120 years of Altendorf stand for the evolution from machine pioneer to trusted partner on equal terms. Many shops run Altendorf machines every single day – and that is exactly where the company anchors its development: with solutions shaped by real workshop practice, focused on intuitive operation, short setup times, and maximum productivity.

Under the campaign theme “120 Years of Altendorf – From pioneer to the craftsman’s best friend”, Altendorf America invites visitors to experience the full machine range live at Booth B7972. As part of the anniversary, Altendorf has launched the campaign #Altendorf120 – “Share Your Altendorf Moment”, where customers and users can submit their personal Altendorf story at Your Altendorf Moment.

F 35 – major show highlight with versatility on display

The Altendorf F 35 is the centrepiece of this year’s IWF appearance. It delivers smooth running, precise cut quality, and ergonomic operation – designed to meet the demands of growing operations and production-focused shops alike. All available versions are IIoT-ready, equipped with a 15-inch tiltable touchscreen, CNC rip fence, motorized blade unit, and LED danger-zone lighting. Up to 6″ (154 mm) cutting height; up to 12′ 6″ (3,800 mm) cutting length.

HAND GUARD – safety, refined

At IWF 2026, Altendorf presents the latest version of HAND GUARD, the AI-supported optical safety assistance system for sliding table saws. The system has been refined for everyday workshop operation: the optimized infeed area allows even more comfortable workpiece handling, an expanded AI dataset increases recognition quality, and unintended triggers have been further reduced. Precise laser markings define the optional HAND GUARDing zone and create maximum transparency in the safety-relevant area.

F 45 – the benchmark

For decades, the Altendorf F 45 has been the standard against which every other sliding table saw is measured. Its combination of precision, reliability, and ergonomic operation continues to define what a high-end sliding table saw can be.

K 36 and F 5 – edgebanding that earns its place

For shops focused on edge quality, the booth shows the K 36 – Altendorf’s all-time favourite K-Series edgebander, built for high-performance continuous-duty operation with a feed speed of approximately 49 ft/min (15 m/min), a 15″ LED touchscreen with 3D visualization, an interchangeable glue pot ready to run in 6 minutes, and an optional AirTronic system for joint-free edges – and the F 5, the all-in-one entry into the Altendorf F-Series. Both are engineered in Germany and supported in North America by the Altendorf America service network.

For Darren McCarthy, Managing Director of Altendorf America, IWF 2026 carries a particular weight: “This is the most important platform we have in North America – and in our 120th year, we are showing up with the strongest machine lineup we have ever brought to an American trade show. It’s a moment to show customers, both new and long-standing, exactly what Altendorf stands for: quality you can count on, day in and day out.”

Invitation to the trade

Altendorf America invites visitors to a dialogue at IWF 2026: experience the machines live, discuss real-world solutions, and discover how productivity, ease of use, and digitalization can be implemented in any North American shop.
