Flexible control. Precise performance.

Control concepts that adapt to your daily workflow.

In the workshop, fast setup, accurate dimensions, and safe operation are what matter most. That’s exactly why the Altendorf F 30 offers three control variants, tailored to different day-to-day requirements.

Manual control – full control directly at the machine

With the manual version, you adjust cutting height and tilt angle in the traditional way using finely tuned handwheels. The response is direct and controlled, you immediately feel how the machine reacts, even during precision work.

The digital display for the tilt angle helps you set and monitor the angle with accuracy at all times. Especially for mitre cuts, this eliminates the need for re-measuring and trial adjustments.

In daily operation, this means:

  • quick setup without complex technology
  • full control for one-off parts
  • reliable performance in solid wood and panel processing

The rip fence runs smoothly on the hard-chromed round bar, remains precise even under pressure and during long cuts, and can be adjusted with high accuracy. For large panels, it can be easily swung away, providing more support surface, reducing the risk of jamming, and significantly improving handling safety.

Motorized control – faster setup, clean repeatability

Height and angle can be adjusted at the push of a button within seconds. This saves time, especially when switching between different materials or thicknesses.

All values are clearly displayed and reliably stored. Dimensions can be recalled and repeated at any time with precision, without the need for readjustment.

In practice, this means:

  • reduced setup times for changing jobs
  • reproducible dimensions without readjustment
  • more relaxed working thanks to less manual effort

The control panel is mounted directly on the machine frame, features a clear layout, and is equipped with large buttons, ideal for safe and intuitive operation. Adjustments are precise and reliable, without overrun.

Especially when frequently switching between solid wood and panel materials, this makes a real difference in workflow, particularly for recurring cutting tasks.

Advanced control – series production without time loss

The advanced version adds the CNC rip fence. It moves automatically to your set dimension within seconds, fast, smooth, and with an accuracy of ±0.1 mm. Stored programs can be recalled at any time, making it ideal for recurring cutting tasks.

In daily operation, this means:

  • enter the dimension, the fence positions itself automatically
  • no measuring, no readjustment
  • automatic dimension correction for tilted saw blades or when the fence is flipped
  • identical parts are produced with true consistency
  • the fence detects resistance and stops, for added safety
  • intuitive control panel with large buttons, swivel-mounted and easily
  • accessible from both sides

Built for everyday workshop use, the system remains reliable even under dust and heavy workload. Especially for series cutting or strip production, it delivers significant time savings while ensuring complete confidence in every dimension.

Options

The saw unit is the heart of every Altendorf saw, representing maximum precision and stability. Its exceptional smooth running is achieved through the precise balancing of the fully assembled saw shaft unit, combined with the extensive use of cast components.

The unit is mounted on high-precision, maintenance-free linear guides. Solid tilt segments with a tongue-and-groove design ensure smooth operation and exact angle adjustment of the entire unit.

The scoring unit ensures chip-free underside edges when cutting coated panel materials.

Height adjustment is carried out electromotorically, while lateral adjustment is manual. When the scoring saw blade is activated, the unit automatically moves into the working position; when switched off, it retracts below the table surface.

The scoring unit has a drive power of 0.75 kW at 8,200 rpm. An LED light clearly marks the hazard area of the scoring unit.

The RAPIDO system makes adjusting the cutting width straightforward and reduces this step.

The cutting width of the scoring blade can be precisely adjusted to the cutting width of the main saw blade without dismantling. Adjustment range: 3.2 – 3.8 mm.

Our system enables precise fine adjustment for 1/10 mm accuracy when setting the length dimension. The display shows all three stop settings applied. The central measuring and display unit calibrates the entire system in one operation. Two flip stops with fine adjustment, two batteries and a charger are included.

Digital rip fence with fine adjustment. The digital cutting width display of the rip fence, combined with manual fine adjustment, ensures fast and precise positioning. This electronic measuring system guarantees accurate and efficient setup of the rip fence. Repeated cutting dimensions can be reproduced exactly and are clearly displayed on the DIGIT X.

With a width of 300 mm, the front support roller provides valuable assistance when cutting long workpieces on the rip fence. It can be positioned beneath the sliding table (from a length of 2,600 mm) with a single motion by swiveling it 90°.

DUPLEX fences enable bevel cuts at any angle between 0 and 90° with speed and precision and can be positioned anywhere along the entire length of the table. Set it to 45° and a mitre cut can be made on both sides of the workpiece without further adjustments.

Cut to length with folding stop up to max. 1,350 mm.

he DUPLEX DD enables precise mitre cuts without timeconsuming calculations, remeasuring, or trial cuts. The electronic unit automatically calculates the length dimension based on the mitre angle on both sides of the fence and displays both values digitally.

Adjustment is carried out via a digital angle and length display with automatic length compensation. Includes batteries. Crosscuts up to 1,350 mm are possible.

The PALIN allows you to cut parallel and conical workpieces on the sliding table. By butting against the side of the workpiece, differing lengths can be cut quickly and precisely without having to move the PALIN.

The STEG relieves the operator when formatting large plates with more surface area.

Clearly displays the cutting line for all cutting lengths. Particularly useful for trimming or cutting along marked lines, for example on stair treads. Saves time and material.

Discover our feature options that are specially designed for the processing of solid wood, features that turn the job into child’s play.

With the Altendorf F 30 sliding table saw, all common plastics can be cut precisely into the desired shape. Even complex composite materials such as carbon fiber panels can be processed effortlessly – with accuracy down to a tenth of a millimeter. The F 30 ensures clean, precise cutting results for a wide range of plastic applications. Learn more about plastic processing with Altendorf.

Panel processing is a job that creates new challenges for carpenters and cabinet-makers day in and day out. Commercially available half-size panels are usually too large and, in the worst case, require two people to handle them. Added to this are scrap panels that could possibly be used for one thing or another at some point in the future. Before long, a pile of scrap wood has formed, and no one can find what he or she needs in it. The features offered by our F 30 will make your panel-processing work even easier.
